Christmas Wish List

I am dying to know what everyone wants for Christmas this year! I already got my parents gift, finallllllly figured out what I am getting my brother Matthew. Christina is easy, a restaurant to write on for her food blog, or save up for our pending Sister's Trip in 2014. I think I finally figured out what to get Drummer Boy. My fam and friends keep asking me what I want for Christmas, so I decided to make my Christmas List....(cue Kelly Clarkson's My Grown Up Christmas List)

1.) Gift cards, gift cards, gift cards! It's funny as we get older we don't really need things, just bare essentials to help us get by! I love getting gift cards at Christmas time and really find a way to stretch them out for a long time. Some of my must haves are:
    • Reading Terminal Market - From grabbing lunch to groceries for the week, the terminal is my favorite place to shop.
    • Whole Foods - My other go to place to shop!! I hate those people that say "Omg Whole Foods is like so expensive." No its not! Sometimes produce is cheaper than Superfresh, I only get scoops of salad, and how can you go wrong with $1.08 nips of yummy gouda?
    • Starbucks - I know I have a coffee problem, be an enabler and help my addiction
    • Cosi - This is a new one this year. I am finding myself goign to Cosi more often recently to get a cup of soup (their Tomato bisque is ammmmazing).
    • Lululemon - I started running again to train for the New York Half Marathon and Christina's 5K Race. I just want to gear up on some stylish gear
2.) To condense space and just use one saucepan, I really love this Le Creuset Saucepan. Those of you who have been to my apartment know I have a collection of wonderful lifetime Le Creuset products and I want to add this to the bunch!

3.) Cabaret Tickets - There are three out of body, mind blowing, Broadway experiences I have had in my life. One was when my parents took me to see Lea Salonga perform a short run of Miss Saigon on my 14th Birthday, I have never cried so hard at a show before it was amazing. The second was recently when my friend Chris and I went to see the closing performance of Follies. Not only was the audience filled with Broadway royalty but it was so thrilling to watch Bernadette Peters and Jan Maxwell kill it. However I will never forget when I saw Cabaret with my friend Travis at Studio 54 with Alan Cummings and Natasha Richardson. We sat at a side table, and I was on the edge of my seat from beginning of the show to the end. The same revival is coming back to Broadway in March and I am dying to see it!!

4.) Waffle Maker - Mine broke during vacation, ugh too many bacon waffles with the man friend. I love the TRU Dual one from Bed Bath and Beyond!

5.) Just one thing to indulge in. La Ducas. Ugh I can only imagine what those beautiful shoes would feel like! Beige 2.5 Elizabeths, made for Elizabeth Parkinson from Movin' Out.

6.) More than anything I just want to raise awareness and find treatment for Friedrich's Ataxia. My goal for the May 2014 Mother's Day 5K Race for Christina is to raise over $15,000. I would love to have the same people come back next year and to bring in some new friendly faces.

So there it is! I am dying to know, what's on your Christmas list??
Catherine
