FREE Tickets to see Nabucco at Opera Philadelphia

One role I am proud to have is a Supernummerary with Opera Philadelphia. What the heck is a Supernummerary you might say? Well Supernummerary are ensemble members of an Opera who stand in the background and help provide action onstage. We are not allowed to speak or sing, but boy oh boy do we act!

I have been fortunate to have performed in Carmen, Abduction from the Seraglio, Manon Lescaut, La Boheme, Owen Wingrave, The Magic Flute, and now upcoming Nabucco. My roles have ranged from Nun, Prostitutes, Servants, Cigarette girl, and now an Austrian Artistocrat. I know the Opera can be pricey and sometimes feel unapproachable. The one thing I love about Opera Philadelphia is they want the Opera to feel accessible to everyone no matter your age, status or knowledge of music. Through the generosity of the William Penn Foundation and Wyncote Foundation, Opera Philadelphia chooses one night during the performance run to provide FREE outdoor screening an Independence Mall. People receive Opera cushions, bring drinks, and cheese as they relax and enjoy a night of Opera in beautiful Philadelphia.

This year's screening of Nabucco is on September 28, 2013 at 7pm. Tickets are free but you must reserve them! RESERVE YOUR TICKETS HERE. To give you an idea of what it is like, check out last year's production of La Boheme I performed in.
